Primping for Uncle Simon's wedding
What a primping fest Friday was! Ms. Amy did all 3 girls' hair and even took a picture of them painting their own nails! Thank you so much Amy! They held so still even when the goopy wax was being mashed into their hair. Oh so cute! They were so excited. What a total girl day. We should do this more often.

What goes through a Toddler's mind when getting disciplined...
No body bets on me!
My Momma's friends Ms. Karen, Ms. Cynde, and Ms. Amy all have a bet about me. Ms. Karen had Cael over a year ago and he weighed in at 10 lbs. 6 oz.! They all guessed what week it would take me.... Well I am going to dupe them all and stay like this for another month, hee, hee! I think one said 11 weeks, another at 13 and 15 weeks. Well I am tipping the scales around 9 1/2 lbs, and I am 12 weeks. Think I can make it? On the other hand, mom and I win because we get a blizzard for free! Decisions, decisions.......

Too Old for Naps?
I don't think so! Their second day without a nap. Momma needed a little sunshine, so part of their punishment was to stay in the stroller without getting out. I noticed about half way through our walk it was awfully quiet. It was too cute. Sebastian fell asleep with his construction goggles... And Analise.... well let's just hope no bugs were around! hee, hee!
Fair Night
We went to the fair last Sunday with my parents. We had a lot of fun and didn't lose anyone! The kids loved seeing the farm animals. They actually rode a lot of rides. Sebastian wanted to ride all of the rides. Of course we had to do the pony rides for Hannelora. (She loves horses!) And I got in trouble for shooting a picture. Oops, I should have read the signs. The kids thought they hit the mother load, they ate at McDonald's, had cotton candy and went to bed at 10.

A picnic and the turtle
Last Sunday we went to Riverfront Park for a walk and a picnic lunch. We lucked out with bug spray in the car. Nathan didn't spray himself very good and.... well let me put it this way, it was kind of fun hitting daddy... I mean the mosquitoes!
During lunch we saw a turtle crossing the road. Sebastian has never seen a turtle before. He was mesmerized .
Analise insisted she could push the stroller by herself. Our 7 year old stroller is pretty banged up and the front wheel shifts to the right. I think she wanted to see of her big brother could swim in the Yellowstone!

Hawthorne Park
Karen was holding Bjorn and he was the most comfortable in this position
Lately we have been going to the wading pool with Karen, Amy, Cynde, Nicole and their kids. My kids love it, they can swim without being restrained without a life jacket. We figured we should let them swim more often since the pool closes in a few weeks. Where has the summer gone?

Houdini Boy
For the last two nights Bjorn has cried for an hour. I was going to let him cry it out. I knew that he was fed and changed and was tired. He was plum cranky or so I thought.... I asked (very kindly) to Nathan if he would get him for me. The next thing I heard was, "What the heck? The boy is naked!" Now in all of my 5 babies this is the only one it has happened to. He worked himself into such a tither, he got his legs out of his pj legs and pushed from the crotch of the jamies and then catapulted the rest of his slight body out of his pj's. Even his diaper came off! Poor little man. I am no longer going to trust my motherly instincts.
