Oct. 4th: 4 months and eating rice cereal for the first time... It was hard for me to feed him cereal so soon. All my other kids were 5 or 6 months before they had cereal. But since he is so tiny, I thought it would be a good idea. not too bad for the first time, he ate most of it

Karen lent us this walker, which is really neat, when he gets bigger and stronger he will be able to walk in circles. We won't have to worry about him falling down stairs or anything dangerous!

Dare to take a walk with us?

don't mind the food around her mouth, she obviously wasn't in that much misery

The kids and I took a walk a couple of weeks ago and 1 minute into our walk, Analise falls on her face and scraps her cheek. Then halfway through, Zeb crosses the street and trips over his feet and well you can guess what happened. Of course, I didn't have any band aids with me! Arggghhh! Anyone, care to go for a walk with us?

Karen's, Jen's and my husband were gone to Kentucky for work. We decided to have a pizza night with the kids. I think we had more fun than the kids. We will have to do this more often.

First Day of School

This is our temporary flag. We started off saying the Pledge of Allegiance. Also I found a break down of what every phrase means. I want my children to truly understand what our flag stands for.

We started school a couple of weeks ago. Hannelora is in 2nd grade and Cozi is in Kindergarten. I weighed, measured and asked them a few questions. Here are a few....

Hannelora loves the color silver, loves spaghetti, her favorite thing she did this summer was fishing with daddy and Uncle Seth, her favorite book is Alice and Wonderland, her favorite subjects are Art and History.

Cosette loves red, loves bologna, her favorite thing this summer was learning how to ride her bike with training wheels, and her favorite subject in school is the craft.

Sebastian loves black, loves eating pizza, his favorite thing this summer was going to his room. I think he thought I asked him what was the thing he did most.... Silly boy... His favorite thing was fishing with daddy and Uncle Seth. His favorite story is anything with firetrucks and he loves to draw.

I found all 3 girls in bed this morning. So cute. (I am asking myself why couldn't this sweet morning keep going?)
