Sick babies and laundry...

Wed. night Zeb, Analise and Cozi had the flu. Our night started at 10 p.m. and ended until 2 or 3 a.m. Poor babies were throwing up all night.

hee, hee! Click on Analise's picture and read the bold words. It is actually a history of hop scotch that she is reading. Hilarious!

Cozi and her thumb... She is so sweet!

I thought I had a lot of laundry until today. We had sleeping bags, sheets, comforters, pillows, stuffed animals and the regular laundry. On top of that I had not folded the 3 loads before that.... I am so glad it was a hot day, most things dried outside. At least they smelled good again! Oh I hope tonight is a good night....

Dr. Justen helps take out Zeb's stitches

a little apprehensive....

Nathan and his pointing....

Justen came over to take Zeb's stitches out Tuesday night after work. It is amazing to think Justen and Nathan grew up together and now Justen is doing "procedures" on our children. Thank you Justen for helping us out.

First week of school

Getting weighed, it is fun to see how much they have grown from year to year.

Getting measured

At their desks

Sebastian and his file folder game. He is learning the alphabet.

Our history unit for this month is Greece. We are trying out some greek food. Feta cheese, grapes, figs (we only had dried plums) and olives.

Zeb doesn't like the dried plum

olives.....
Hannelora has several favorite colors this year: gold, silver, pink and purple. Her favorite food is chinese and spaghetti. She loves to read and her favorite subject is math and science. I asked her what her favorite thing we did this summer and it was going up to Glacier. She is now in 3rd grade and is a sweet, soft spoken girl.

Cozi loves light blue, hot dogs, Bubba (baby brother) and math. Her favorite story is about the Teeny Tiny woman with the Teeny Tiny dog... Ahhh, sweet, lovable Cozi is now in 1st grade.

Sebastian's favorite things are the color orange, pizza and hotdogs, Spiderman math, going down the Big Sky waterslides and listening to the story of Mike Mulligan. He recently fell off his bike and had stitches. He was a brave little boy.

Analise, she is still a momma's girl. She can be quite a helper around the house when she wants to be. She is a lot of fun to hang out with especially when I do errands.

Monday: We tried to go huckleberry picking and visit Hungry Horse Dam

I couldn't help myself, Analise is so photogenic! Beautiful!

As we scouted for Huckleberries, we saw this large nest and bird... (no such luck, we couldn't find any berries, just a lot of plants...)

Looking over the side of the dam- kinda scary!

more pointing!

We also did the maze. The kids were soooo excited... Well only for a half an hour and then they were pooped! It took us about an 1 hr and 15 min. They recouped as they ate their ice cream.

The Condo:

the loft- Analise and Zeb slept

next to it was the master bedroom- it even had a king side bed (we thought it was way too big)

Wednesday: It was the hottest day of the week (95 degrees) so we went to Big Sky Water Slides.

4 1/2 hours later..... we are ready to go home!

Thursday: Drove up to the Sun Road and hiked
Hidden Lake look out.

view from our car!

And that is it, we decided to pack up Thursday night and come home Friday. We had a great, great time but we wanted to be home for Labor Day weekend to relax.
