Wald Christmas

Christmas morning

waiting to open the presents

enthusiasm at it greatest

Nathan opens his GPS from me

Cowboy garb, my son either wants to be a cowboy or a superhero...
Quite a contrast...

Nathan gave Isaac a tool belt with a plethora of tools for remodeling his house in Lewistown

Our gift to Nathan's parents, our very first ever family picture...
It should go down in history, I am serious...
I apologize for putting the events backwards, we actually spent Christmas Eve opening presents with Nathan's parents and then opened our presents in the morning.
Sebastian received Batman stuff, Analise a baby stroller and other paraphernalia, Cozi and Hannelora each got an American girl doll, Felicity and Elizabeth Cole, Nathan a GPS system (so his wife doesn't fear for his life when he hunts) and a clock(which we can't decide where to put) and I got a back massager, some boots and a feather/foam pillow. Plus, much much more from family.
Thank you everyone!

Hannelora and Bjorn

Hannelora sometimes watches Bjorn for me while I take a half hour nap. Today she decided to take some photos. Isn't he adorable?
Bjorn entertains himself now that he can sit up. It is a whole new world for him.

A little too much help?

The girls are always so helpful, and I think they had too much fun feeding their brother. What do you think? On the other hand, Bjorn could have put up a fight because he didn't want to eat prunes!

Arizona!

My brother's home
The one thing I really wanted to do was see the Phoenix Zoo
My sis-in-law, Laurel and my sis, Tara

Bjorn and my bro

Kaden and August hate bugs, but they sure like to see them all locked up!

My sister sewed some curtains for my brother while we were there! My sister seems to be able to do anything. She is quite talented.

Games! I love games! We played Candyland, Shouts and ladders and Hi-ho Cherry-o! My sister even felt pity on me and played a few card games.

August and Kaden are learning songs on the keyboard

I got to go to Phoenix with Bjorn and my sister. It was wonderful to see my two nephews and my brother and sister-in-law. I was also quite amazed at seeing Phoenix. I thought I was going to see desert and desolation. I was pleasantly surprised to see flowers and trees and everything landscaped. The temperatures were mostly in the 50's during the day when I was there. Our last day was a beautiful 76 degrees. Of course, then we had to return to snow and 4 degrees. Oh well, at least we get a white Christmas!
What about Nathan? He got to stay at home with the other four. I have to say that he did a wonderful job. He did some fun daddy things and also surprised me with a picked up house and all the laundry done.

Our Christmas tree

We cut our tree the weekend before Christmas
(notice our hunter orange)

decorating our tree

Zeb and Nathan are not into the decorations too much, it is just us girls! At least I have 3 great helpers!

Everyone, you should be so proud of Nathan and I, for the first time in 11 years we have a star on the top of our tree!

Bjorn and Jaxson's dedication

Vern dedicates Jaxson

Tim Weidlich dedicates Bjorn

Jaxson and Bjorn were dedicated on Sunday November 30. Nathan and I have known Justen and Jen for many years-Nathan and Justen since kids. We thought it would be special to have our boys dedicated on the same day. They are one month apart.

Isn't she precious?

I couldn't help myself. Isn't Analise adorable? I often wonder if this is how God looks at us when we are sleeping. Although I know we are not that cute mouths open drooling on our pillows. Hee, hee! Just one of my many crazy thoughts!

More Random shots from the girls

The day after Thanksgiving I went Christmas shopping while Nathan watched all 5 of the kids.
