Swimming Lessons

Analise, the first day, she has her solemn face. Kinda cute with her goggles!

Here they are, ready to go!

Hannelora and Cozi waiting on the side for their teacher.

Analise deciding not to swim

Zeb, this might be the only picture of his head out of the water. He sure likes the water.

Hannelora in the pink

Cozi in the blue

Analise likes it! Amazing!

Silly faces of Bjorn!

He actually is a little cross-eyed! Hee, hee!

A tribute to my sister

They are wearing them Aunt T! My sister Tara takes the girls every other Friday after work for a couple hours and then Zeb the other Fridays. She took the girls to Walmart to pick out their fabric. Hannelora and Cozi picked theirs because they had horses and cats on them, Analise because it was pretty. So very adorable!

Trout Hatchery and Fossil Digging

My dad wrote this letter to the kids. I get my humor from my dad, he is quite priceless! (Ikeep forgetting to have my kids sign their names to go on the trip-oops)

they held the fish in a large building
Dad is joking around with the kids by sticking his finger in the water.

Dartanian, Hannelora and Zeb- I wonder who has who on the leash?

The kids got to feed the fish outside, they would practically jump out of the water to eat. Kinda cool.

here we are crossing a pretty big stream

some sort of snail they call the devils claw and a part of a squid

My dad is quite the adventurer, he has been wanting to take my kids here for a long time so we decided to go last weekend. It was fun, but a little treacherous! We had to walk on a slanted path that I swore was carpeted in biting ants. Mom and I had to turn around with the three younger ones, they were scared and crying. At one point Zeb slid and almost fell into the stream, made my heart pump faster! My dad wanted all the kids to hunt for fossils so we pulled over the side of the rode and here they are walking down the slope. My kids had quite a journey! We finished our trip with an ice cream cone!

I felt like the worst mother ever!

I had dinner baking in the oven and never thought twice about Bjorn getting hurt. I heard him cry but didn't put two and two together until Nathan saw his fingers when he came home. He had opened the bottom drawer of the oven and put his fingers up into the stove and burned two fingers! He had 2 large blisters poor baby! I felt awful and a terrible momma even though it was an accident!

Jen and I had a co-birthday party together for the boys. They are only a month apart so we had a party in the middle of the month. It is a busy month for everyone, we celebrated with Jen's family and Carol and Leon. It was a wonderful and relaxing get together.

Our 12th Anniversary

The girls washing breakfast dishes.

Nathan is reading his card I gave him. Also I gave him 5 coupons to do whatever he desired....

I feel like a married woman again. I lost my wedding ring making bread sometime in November. I have been looking for it ever since. I didn't want another ring since I am not into jewelry, but I feel the meaning of a wedding ring is very important.

A white gold band, no frills- totally who I am.

Exhausted, all the rain must have tired these two out....

The girls made a fort, how fun!

Twelve years of marriage, wow! We sure have a lot to show for it, 5 kids, a wonderful house, wonderful friends and family. Our marriage has seen quite a bit of ups and downs but I wouldn't change it for the world because it has made us grow every year. My goal is to be more Christ centered, hard at times until I realize what Jesus has done for me so unselfishly and with unconditional love.

Bjorn's Birthday

Rise and Shine Birthday Boy!
After dinner, Bjorn had his cupcake. He didn't know what to do with it at first. Then.....

Lookout!

There is Bubba's smile.

I think he liked the frosting.

Hannelora and Cozi made him a gift.

On the bag it says, "Happy Birthday fuzz-head, love Hannelora and Cozi." (He has a lot of knick names)

The gift: teddy bears holding hands. My girls are so creative.

Bubba "loving" his card from the girls.
