Family Reunion in Bismarck

Amazing, my kids don't take naps often when we travel. I was very excited when they fell asleep.

A way to pacify the time. He loved chewing on a carrot and then when he was done he hucked it at daddy. Bjorn has quite the throwing arm.

We were waiting outside the hotel, Bjorn is ready to do the driving. I guess nobody told him we were already there!

The hotel had an awesome pool and slide. The kids loved it!
It was a little cold for Bjorn, but he was a trooper.

I think this was Zeb. All 3 of the older ones went down by themselves. Analise still needed mommy or daddy to go down with her.

After lunch, we went to a park and played. It was a perfect day.

Ice cream! Mmmmmmmm...

Catching up with Nathan's cousins: Jodi and Jennifer, their husbands and kids.

Aunt Shena and Cozi

Herman... Need I say more? He is a hoot! (Leon's cousin)

2nd cousins? I can never keep this straight.

We stopped by Sunday morning to see Grandma Rosie again. She of course gave us some of her famous Kucha (sp?) Grandma Rosie you are a neat woman! We love you!

Pool Fun

The day after the fourth we went over for our first swim at my in-laws. We had Justen, Jen, Jaxson, De and Den, Carol and Leon and Simon and Shena. It was a nice get together. Also, I had my first artichoke, yummy and a far cry from canned.

The Fourth of July

All the kids dressed in red, white and blue.... and cowboy boots!

Flag toe nails, so very cute! Thanks Amy for letting us borrow your fingernail polish. The girls loved having their momma paint their toes.

Analise enjoys Mr. Justen and Jaxson

We bought some cotton candy on the way home, then we did some fireworks until the storm hit.

Bubba got to play with the popit boxes

It is 9:35 p.m. and all the kids are still up waiting to see the fireworks from our backyard. (Except the baby) The kids are pretty tired but they are excited. We will see if they make it!

Hiking in Redlodge

Last Sunday we went to Redloge for a hike. The kids were all excited!

Bubba gets the best seat of all!

Gosh all that walking made Bjorn sleepy!

We ate lunch by the water. What a beautiful view.

A waterfall

taking a break

Exhausted!

We haven't gone on a hike in forever. Nathan and I love to hike, there is nothing better than being out in the woods for a day, fresh air, and one another. The kids may have stopped for a thousand bathroom breaks and snacks but it was well worth it. The only one who really complained was Zeb. Maybe if he wore his Batman cape he would have had more energy!
